FINANCIAL ANALYST

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will focus on supporting CAЯBON’s initial expansion and will support our portfolio initiatives through the following responsibilities:

  • Research: Assist in forecasting and modeling future spend.

  • Development: May include: financial reporting and planning, supporting information system initiatives, annual audit preparation, and other financial analysis.

  • Solutions: Explore potential complementary solutions to arising situations.

  • Evaluation: Evaluate existing policies, procedures, user permissions, and work flows to identify and coordinate appropriate changes.

  • Communicating: Interact with finance team members and leadership. Respond to general inquiries.

  • Participation: Be active in scheduled individual and team meetings.

  • Hustle: Our intern team is absolutely critical in our organization’s ability to quickly react to new opportunities and obstacles that arise.

Desired Qualifications/Characteristics

  • Have a burning passion to solve the world’s most pressing problems today.

  • Demonstrated potential to serve as a leader of the next generation of changemakers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated self-starter, with strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks.

  • Effective problem solver: requires strong coordination and communication skills.

  • Ability to work with participants from diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience working on projects related to impact initiatives are nice to have but not required.

Position Type

  • Internship/Unpaid

        This is on a pure volunteer basis, think of this as a real-life social impact and networking course that no school             will teach you.

Hours/Commitment

  • Minimum of 20 hours/week of availability.

Age/Grade

  • We work with both High School and College students.
