Role Overview

The Marketing/Social Media Intern will focus on managing and creating content for CAЯBON through the following responsibilities:

  • Ideating, creating and posting content to different social media platforms

  • Planning and adhering to content calendars to schedule posts on different social media platforms

  • Optimizing content, tracking user traffic and assessing user response to different content posted

  • Help plan social media campaigns to reach a wider audience, increase brand awareness and drive sales

  • Photography, graphic design and video content creation

  • Store product creation and management




  • Proficiency in social media usage: should have a knowledge of a variety of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google Plus and LinkedIn. 

  • Written communication: strong writing skills to create content and adapt the brand’s voice to a variety of different social media platforms. They may also be tasked with responding to user comments and need professional writing skills to communicate via email with external partners. 

  • Interpersonal skills: work closely with fellow interns, key staff members and executives. They must be able to communicate professionally and take direction well. 

  • Analytical skills: analyze data such as website traffic and click-to-conversion rates to determine factors such as which platforms perform well with different content and the best time of day to post content for maximum visibility. 

  • Creativity: work on marketing campaigns with the social media or marketing manager and other staff members. Social media interns may also be asked to ideate content for different social media platforms. 

  • Availability: Minimum of 10 hours/week

  • Volunteer Based: Real-life social impact and networking skills

  • Age Doesn’t Matter: We work with both High School Students, College Students, and Post-Grads.
