WHY: TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO WALK FOR WATER

*HOW: CARRY BUCKETS, JUGS, LUGGAGE, GROCERIES, WEIGHTs, or WHATEVER.
The goal is to simulate the daily journey millions of women and children make in order to survive across sub-saharan africa.

DETAILS: CARBON + Operation Water have joined forces to develop a sustainable village model that enables clean water infrastructure, filtration, energy, decentralized farming, connectivity, and education throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

We have started our initial project in Mozambique in a village called Nwadjahane.

This will be a blueprint to create “CARBON copies” for many other communities to follow so that we can solve this crisis once and for all over the next 20 years.

 
 

“22andYou”: NYC WATER WALK

To kick off #WorldWaterDay, CARBON Group Global and Operation Water have officially launched an inaugural social media campaign (The Challenge) that will simulate the daily journey that tens of millions of women & children across Sub-Saharan Africa undergo to obtain clean water. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

FOR YOU FITNESS FREAKS:

Join CARBON Founder, Shayne Veramallay for a Water Walk in New York City on April 6th, 2019 from at 12pm leaving from the Wall Street Bull near Water Street & Broadway in Lower Manhattan up to Times Square and over to the Mozambique Embassy to water the flowers. (4.0+ miles!)

Carry one or two… up to you. Just don’t waste the water!
